Tricia Sullivan has been publishing science fiction novels since 1995, the same year that she moved to Britain from New Jersey. In 1999 her novel Dreaming in Smoke won the Arthur C. Clarke Award, and both Maul and Lightborn have been shortlisted. When her children were small her writing career collapsed, so she retrained in physics with the Open University. She is presently an MSc student at the Astrophysics Research Institute in Liverpool. Her latest novel is Occupy Me.
