Goodbye, NEWS. Hello, FEATURES!

Here at Ghostwoods, we’re constantly busy trying to get new books ready for you to read. Which means the only news takes place at publication time. During the breaks while we’re acquiring, editing, laying out and covering books, well… nothing much appears to be happening. To make your visit to our site more enjoyable, we’ve decided to expand the scope of what we cover in our “News” section.

It will now include reviews of books we love, interviews with writers (not just the ones we publish) and other creative types, and articles about THINGS we think you’ll find interesting. We also hope to publish stories and have writing contests. Perhaps we’ll even have some cool puzzles created by puzzlemaster Tim Dedopulos.

So welcome to our FEATURES section. Let us know what geeky things you’d like to read about.

Evolution or Revolution? ¿Por qué no los dos?

When Tim started Ghostwoods Books, he was mostly thinking that digital publishing might allow publishers to share profits equally with writers. We tried that for a while before realizing that books were very hard to sell unless you had a strategy for attracting readers. We continued publishing while also doing editing and writing as a […]
